About the role
As part of our ongoing growth efforts, we’re looking to build out a hyper local growth model, led by a cross functional area lead who will coordinate all sales, support and activation efforts across his area.
This role requires a seasoned sales leader who can drive results at the local level, while also effectively leveraging centralized resources and collaborating cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have a track record of sales team leadership as well as experience with community marketing and engagement strategies.
Please note, this role will be based in Pretoria.
What you will be doing
Manage and oversee all localised, on-the-ground efforts within your assigned region
Hit growth targets and goals for your area of responsibility
Carefully coordinate and execute community marketing initiatives, as well as nurturing activities in your local market
Manage and lead local sales teams, providing direction and oversight
Work closely with local account managers to align sales and customer engagement efforts
Leverage strong central enablement teams and processes to support your regional operations
Drive strong adherence to process and systems across the team
Provide coaching and training where needed
Grow your understanding and influence in the region as a representative of Yoco
About you
Over 3 years of experience leading and managing a field sales or account management team
Familiarity with building and implementing community-driven growth strategies (preferred)
Proficient with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
Excellent communication skills to report progress and coordinate efforts up, down, and across the organization
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels
