About the Revenue Team
The Revenue Team is the engine of Yoco’s growth. We power revenue by acquiring new merchants through performance marketing, retail, and field sales. But growth isn’t just about new business—it’s about helping our existing merchants thrive. We drive retention and product adoption, ensuring every merchant unlocks the full value of Yoco. We are driven by results, energised by fast-paced growth, and focused on making a real impact on small businesses. We are a team of go-getters, strategists, and problem-solvers who thrive on unlocking new opportunities through acquiring new merchants or driving deeper engagement with our existing base.
About the Revenue Operations Team
The Revenue Operations (RevOps) Team is the enablement function of Yoco’s revenue growth. We empower the broader Revenue Team with strategic direction, performance insights, and new growth opportunities. We build the creative, sales enablement, and operational capabilities that drive efficiency and impact. With a strong focus on project management and executional excellence, we ensure strategies turn into action.
The opportunity
We’re looking for a commercially-minded Revenue Growth Strategist to lead high-impact initiatives that accelerate growth across the entire revenue engine. You’ll operate at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution—surfacing insights, uncovering new opportunities, and driving clarity across sales, marketing, and customer success.
You’ll influence company priorities and fuel our go-to-market strategy with data, forecasts, and experimentation. This role blends analytical depth, business intuition, and executional drive—and gives you a front-row seat to the scaling journey of one of Africa’s fastest-growing companies.
What you will be doing
Own Revenue Performance Insights: Track funnel metrics, identify bottlenecks, and uncover actionable insights across the customer journey.
Drive Forecasting & Revenue Strategy: Partner with GTM teams to shape forecasts, pipeline pacing, and performance tracking.
Model & Monitor: Build dashboards, reports, and models that drive decision-making—from weekly huddles to board-level reviews.
Uncover Growth Opportunities: From pricing strategies and conversion levers to churn patterns and upsell paths—dig deep and propose bold ideas.
Lead Strategic Deep Dives: Run conversion audits, CAC/LTV analysis, and churn diagnostics to inform quarterly revenue priorities.
Enable GTM Planning: Help define targets, capacity plans, and resourcing needs for sales and account teams.
Collaborate Across RevOps: Work with our RevOps and Enablement teams to ensure the right data, tooling, and processes are in place to move fast and scale smart.
About you
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (required). An MBA or postgraduate qualification will be an advantage
Experience: 8+ years in growth, strategy, or commercial roles with a proven track record of identifying and scaling revenue opportunities throughout a customer lifecycle and across revenue funnels
Strategic & Analytical: You blend sharp analytical skills with commercial thinking.
Data-Driven & Insight-Led: You’re comfortable in spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytics tools—and you love surfacing insights
GTM-Savvy: You understand the B2B customer journey and revenue metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, pipeline health, etc)
Collaborative: Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across product, marketing, and sales
A Collaborator & Influencer: You know how to work across teams and inspire change without formal authority.

So, who are you? You’re someone who resonates with our mission and our values, and you’re relentlessly effective in your execution.
