As a Solutions Engineer – Point of Sale, you will be the master of your craft, ensuring seamless and efficient setup, configuration, and optimisation of Point of Sale systems for our customers’ needs. Your expertise in data management, precision, and system configuration will play a crucial role in enhancing functionality and user experience for clients.

About the team
At Yoco, our Solutions Team plays a vital role in empowering entrepreneurs to succeed. The solutions team is dedicated to ensuring the systems they build are highly functional and tailored to the client’s needs. They must be very thorough in their backend setup, and the collaboration with installers likely ensures seamless integration.
The opportunity

Picture this: you're meticulously crafting digital menus that tantalize taste buds, ensuring every tap and swipe is a seamless experience.
You'll conjure flawlessly calibrated hardware, ensuring every component sings in perfect harmony. Beyond the setup, you're the trusted confidante, the empowering mentor who guides restaurateurs to culinary digital mastery. You’re not just a solutions engineer; you’re the conductor of a high tech culinary orchestra.
In a typical week, you will:
System Setup & Configuration Build and customize menus, products, recipes, modifiers, and variants to meet business needs.
Optimization & Efficiency Yoco’s Table POS solution, crunch and analyze data to structure POS systems effectively.
Conduct system walkthroughs and training sessions, ensuring merchants can confidently use the Table POS system, mainly on the back end setup side.
Hardware Configuration & Setup, setting up POS terminals, Network devices, Payment devices and QA testing of these setups.
Solution Design, meeting with clients virtually or onsite to understand the restaurant flow and needs to put together the best setup for the client.
Seamless handover, be able to handover the setups to the installer team to be able to complete the full rollout of every configured system.
About You
3+ years of experience in a Setup or Configuration role, ideally in payments, fintech, POS systems, Building Menu’s, recipes and stock and inventory
Strong communicator—you can break down complex concepts into simple, actionable guidance for merchants.
Experience in a product-led organization, especially in POS, banking, finance, fintech, or IT systems support.
Solid understanding of networks, WiFi, and internet connectivity, with the ability to Setup network equipment following well structured guides.
Experience in data handling, stock control, and system configuration.
Self-motivated and proactive—you take initiative and demonstrate resilience under pressure.
The Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
Attention to detail with a methodical and analytical approach to setup and management.
